Global Trek Ministries was conceived in 2004 and, following diligent work and planning, began to come to fruition in 2007.  Its founders (Justin and Sheila Rowland) are passionate about the things of God and are excited to be in a position of service.  This website is a way of sharing their walk with the Lord and allowing those who want to be apart of this mission, the opportunity to be involved.  You can get to know Justin and Sheila by learning how God touched their lives and led them to where they are today.  You can follow them as they continue to train/prepare for their travels.  And when the time comes, this website will allow you to follow them around the country and around the world as they strive to walk in obedience to their Maker.

The Mission

Global Trek Ministries has only one desire - to show the love of Christ to the four corners of the world.  Whether that be from their base of operations (in central Texas, U.S.A.) or on the far side of the globe.  Wherever Global Trek feels the Lord is leading them, they will follow.

Global Trek's Vision

Global Trek has a vision of being a truly dynamic ministry.  Whether utilizing Sheila's medical training or Justin's flight training and/or prior military/law enforcement experience, Global Trek is capable/competent and willing to get dirty.  This ministry has a vision to assist existing missionary organizations (already in place throughout the world) in practical ways.  Supporting these fellow brothers and sisters in Christ with their time and talents, Justin and Sheila simply have a heart to serve.  From relief work following natural/man-made disasters, to volunteering at Christian camps for youth, Global Trek's vision is to be a highly mobile ministry that can assist others in need on a global scale.
